The Manchester Open is a weekend Go tournament that welcomes players of all strengths.

  • 5-round McMahon tournament
  • Fischer timing: 45 minutes + 15 seconds per move
  • EGD Class A rated tournament
  • Standard BGA rules with 7.5 komi

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall
  • Best Under-16 player
  • Best player 10 kyu or lower
  • Best kyu player
  • Players with 4 or 5 wins

Category prizes are determined by number of wins, then final ranking.
